Terms of Service

The rules of using Logora. Plain English, no legalese.

Last updated: 4 June 2026

The 30-second version

Logora is a clinical logbook for medical trainees. Use it for your own educational and professional logging. Don't enter patient-identifying data. Don't use it to harm anyone. Be honest with the data you log. We provide the service "as is" — we'll do our best, but no software is perfect. If something goes wrong, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Disputes go to Indian courts.

1. Agreement

By creating an account, downloading the Logora app, or using logora.in, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Logora.

These Terms form a binding contract between you and:

Dr Divya Jyoti Banerjee, a sole proprietor and independent operator with registered correspondence address at Hugli, West Bengal, India, doing business as Logora ("we", "us", "our").

Product and account contact: support@logora.in · Legal and grievance contact: hello@logora.in

2. What Logora is

Logora is a software application for medical trainees and professionals to log clinical cases, track investigations, manage research data, and prepare for examinations. It currently provides:

It is offered as:

Logora is NOT a medical device. Logora does not provide medical advice, diagnostic recommendations, or treatment guidance. It is an educational and record-keeping tool only. Nothing in Logora — including AI-generated content, viva questions, scoring suggestions, or analytics — should be used for clinical decision-making about real patients. Always rely on validated clinical resources, hospital protocols, and your own clinical judgement.

3. Eligibility

To use Logora, you must:

If you create an account on behalf of an institution, you must have authority to bind that institution to these Terms.

4. Your account

Account creation

You create an account using your email and a password, or via Google Sign-In. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity on your account.

Account responsibility

You agree to:

Account suspension or termination by us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, or use Logora in a way that harms other users or our infrastructure. We will give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to respond, except in cases of clear and serious violations.

Account closure by you

You can close your account anytime by emailing support@logora.in. We will delete your data per the schedule in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use Logora only for its intended purpose: logging your own clinical cases, managing your own research data, and your own professional development.

You may NOT

Region Mode obligation. If you practise in the European Union, EEA, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, or the GCC, you must use Logora's International Mode (Profile → Region / Privacy). This mode hides the hospital ID field and bands age into 10-year ranges, to reduce re-identification risk under GDPR, UK GDPR and HIPAA. Operating in India Mode while practising in those jurisdictions is a breach of these Terms.
Falsified case data is grounds for immediate account termination. We can detect anomalous logging patterns. If we have reason to believe you are entering fake cases — to inflate numbers for credentialing, to defraud examiners, or to misrepresent your training — we will terminate your account, retain a record of the violation, and may report to your training program if you are using a verifiable institutional account.

6. Your content

You own your data

The clinical case data, notes, AETCOM reflections, thesis records, academic portfolio entries and documents you enter into Logora belong to you. We do not claim any ownership over your professional records.

Limited license to us

By entering data into Logora, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

This license ends when you delete your data or close your account.

You are responsible for your data

You confirm that the data you enter:

7. AI-generated content

Logora uses AI — currently Anthropic's Claude, accessed through our own server-side proxy — to power features like:

AI-generated content may be wrong. AI can misread documents, generate plausible-but-incorrect medical content, miscompute scores, or omit information. Always review AI-generated output before relying on it. AI in Logora is an assistant, not a replacement for your clinical judgement, your training, or established medical references.

You are responsible for reviewing and correcting any AI-generated content before saving it to your records, before submitting any logbook to your supervisor, and before using any output for examinations or research.

We make no warranty that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or fit for any purpose, including medical or examination purposes.

8. Subscriptions and payments

9. Intellectual property

Logora's IP

The Logora name, logo, app, website, code, design, and content (excluding your own data) are owned by us. You may not use them except to use Logora as intended.

Open source

Logora uses various open-source libraries, each governed by their own licenses. A list is available on request.

Your feedback

If you send us suggestions, feedback, or feature requests, we may use them without owing you anything. We will not, however, attribute your feedback publicly without your permission.

10. Privacy

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy, including the named sub-processors we rely on (Firebase, Anthropic, Tally, Make, Brevo, Zoho, PostHog, Sentry, Netlify and any payment processor we may use). By using Logora, you also agree to that policy.

11. Disclaimers

Logora is provided "as is." We do our best to make Logora reliable, useful, and accurate. But we don't guarantee that:

Logora does not replace official institutional logbooks. If your training program requires you to maintain a specific institutional logbook (e.g., NBEMS for DNB / DrNB, NMC e-logbook for MD / MS / MCh / DM, university-specific portals, ISCP, ACGME Case Log, RACS MALT), you must continue doing so. Logora is a complementary tool, not a substitute for required institutional records.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law:

This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Logora evolves. When we do, we will:

Continued use of Logora after changes means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't agree to the changes, your remedy is to stop using Logora and close your account.

15. Termination

You can stop using Logora and close your account anytime. We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

On termination:

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of Logora will be resolved in the courts located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Both parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.

Before initiating any legal action, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting hello@logora.in with a clear description of the problem.

17. Force majeure

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, government action, war, pandemic, or third-party service failures.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remain in effect.

19. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding Logora. They supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

20. Contact

Product, account and billing matters: support@logora.in
Legal, privacy and grievance matters: hello@logora.in
Subject line: begin with "Legal:" or "Grievance:" so we route it correctly
Grievance Officer: Dr Divya Jyoti Banerjee — see our Privacy Policy for the formal grievance route under the DPDP Act 2023.

One last thing

Terms of service exist because lawyers say they must. But the spirit of this document is simple: use Logora honestly, respect others, don't enter patient data, and we will treat you the same way in return. If anything in here feels unfair or out of line with that — tell us. We will look at it again.
